With the profusion of cookbooks and blogs on cooking, writing a cookbooks is a big challenge. The authors have done well to introduce their cookbook of recipes in a fun manner by linking it to their life and incidents from it. Some other cookbook authors too have done so and such a anecdotal recounting of recipes makes cookbooks easier to read and to enjoy. This cookbook comes as it does with experience of Indian students at Graduate School in the USA will definitely be an item of help to any Indian student already in the USA or intending to go to graduate school in the USA. Nothing, of course, prevents them from undergraduate Indian students and non-Indian students from using the book!

Thank you Mr. Pai ! Glad you appreciated the fun factor. There is a lot more "meat" in the book in terms of tips, appendix, glossary of cooking terms and sample grocery list to make it easy for first-timers in the kitchen.
