Green Mango Guy

The beginning of this book is like those post apocalypse Hollywood movies. Somewhere it reminded me of the movie The City of Ember. It has a potential of becoming a great fantasy fiction book probably a series too. Can do better with a bit of humor and more fantasy.

I like where the story is going. The author's love for metaphors is evident and he's done it well. The language is simple and the writing style is such that it doesn't let the reader off the hook. The only improvement I would suggest is a few more minutes of attention on capitalization of letters (it's all mixed up).

The only thing I felt while reading this book is as if I am sitting with a friend who just doesn't know when to shut up. Everything is spelled out for the reader (even the fact that the book is supposed to be funny).

Dibyajyoti sure has the potential to become a great writer. With a little bit of refinement this book can become a great collection of stories. The writing style needs to be more user involving.

This is a nice satire based upon things we come across in our day to day lives. It is written in a way that will make you laugh and give you some food for thought as well.
