Synopsis

I loved her. She loved me.

OK. We loved each other.

I did love her. She didn’t have to leave.

She left. Did I make her leave?

Fine, she moved on.

The entry of a girl in life is the much awaited dream come true moment for any boy. Though he has better things queued up right in front of him, the hunt for finding the right girl is always on. He waits until Cupid’s arrow does the magic. Our Rohan is no different. His very first eye-to-eye glance with Aakruti, made his heart take a bump, go for a rotation with the shortest turning radius and return to normalcy. This time it wasn't a dream, he realized, but a reality. Gradually, attempts made to woo her happen with bizarre coincidences which fruitfully make them fall in love. But the relationship takes an ugly turn when a friend subverts her mind and upsets the apple cart. Things get knottier, when the boy expresses his desire to marry the girl of his choice to his parents. Subsequent frustrations propel her to get married to satisfy the people around her. Was it an act of haste, a forced decision or a pragmatic choice?

Welcome to the world of Rohan and Aakruti to witness their travel on the roads of social stigmatization hand-in-hand.

A good attempt, but too much explanation is taking away the fun of reading further, a suggestion cut that part out and this could become a Bollywood potboiler. A Chetan Bhagat like writing style. Keep up the good work.

Though there are sparks of a good style of writing, the entire ms needs lot of editing and tightening up to move at a faster pace and hold the readers attention.

The narration is superb. Though I found the plot to be quite usual, the way the story moves is very good. This being the author's debut, I would say it's a wonderful job !

It was simply amazing, story line was good. Could have improved the feel of characters and explained the last part, felt it ended very fast. On the whole, the book was very good, I enjoyed reading it, during office hours ;)

An interesting take on life of a recruit/ intern starting his work assignment in the corporate world. Office politics and romance / work relations seem real. The hero is mooning too much over unrequited love.

Unrequited love is a topic which most of us who've loved and lost can relate to. Cheers

Great start as a writer! Catchy one liners, straight forward & bold! Ankita's part was touching... A drawback I feel is the lack of detailing here and there... Thumzapp as a whole!

Too many short sentences in the first paragraph itself did not keep my attention. I cannot visualise the setting, that is where the characters are, I know nothing about how the wedding is, there is no description as to what is happening around Rohan and so I couldn't read more than a few pages. As a fan of romantic stories, I would love to read as the synopsis is interesting but more description of the surroundings and the characters would keep my attention in the story.

I can feel the characters alive. Author has narrated things in a wonderful way to make us turn to the next page. Somewhere in the middle, I completely lost the sequence. Guess the connection will be in the remaining chapters. Apart from few grammatical errors and typos, it is well said. Looking forward for the rest of the story. I wish Rohan gets Aakruti. Best wishes ridhvig :)
