Synopsis

Who looks outside dreams ...

... who looks inside awakens!

– Carl Jung

This book is about a journey that the reader will take to know his or her life preferences and their impact! The idea is to grow closer to knowing yourself and finding answers within. On the one hand, many of us search for these answers through spiritual retreats and conversations. On the other hand, many of us also find it difficult to talk about our biggest secrets with anyone. It is a very well-known and accepted fact that the key to our personal happiness is in these hidden secrets. These are the things we run away from or wear a mask to avoid. This book will open a new way for the reader to find these answers within and then figure out what to do with them.

Mirrored Monologues is like a self dialogue book, where space is given for thinking and writing. This book also provides guideline for taking time away from reading to have self dialogue and then answer a few questions. This book will be useful for all adults irrespective of nationality or ethnicity.

No literary merit. This book lacks clarity and the bad grammar is very irritating.

A poor copycat version of Stephen Covey. Better to read the original.

Well, to begin with, the problem the book tries to address is not as simple as it has been portrayed. the very fact that the problems addressed in the narrative are ubiquitous adds on to the challenge. However I would praise the author's guts to take up such a conundrum and try to spawn the different aspects that need to be taken into consideration. Having said that, a few points :
1. The narration style needs to be a little more elaborate peppered with positive thoughts and sentences.
2. The last chapter, almost 70 percent of it revealed the author's frustration with her friends than addressing the topic from a general point of view.
At last, all the best, keep up the good work..!

Having worked in a Corporate sector the Chapters of this book make you run through the circumstances you go through everyday! The tests are simple to take and its a delight to know that the author can really tap the right pulse that gets it going. Not only is the book written beautifully but it also makes you feel that it is customised for you. Kudos to the author for knowing her job so well and what exactly readers are looking forward too. The Chapters are Crisp, Clear and brilliantly choreographed. If the exercises are carried out sincerely they do give you a realistic solution. All in all the book is quite a journey of your own everyday struggling life with a solution to overcome the fight!
Thumbs Up to the authors first time effort to connect with her readers and eagerly awaiting her next book!

Sharing experiences and emotions from her own life, the author gives a perspective on how to sort our one's aspirations and the societal expectation, to re-define and realize happiness.
Pretty relevant for today's Indian urban population, middle-age and young alike. Start answering the simple looking questions she puts forth, hopefully it will help you to clear the haze and the maze.
The first three chapters are shaping up nicely, looking forward to next ones.

A nice story-telling approach on an important subject that is often made to sound serious & overtly intense.
