Synopsis

Siddharth Sharma was a calm boy with a peaceful life until... he met her. One girl, 4 years of college and all that he could do was waste them in fear. At the end of Engineering, he finds himself at the airport entrance as she looks at him with a tear-stained face and gives him a wet smile, waving good bye. That was probably the end for them. Until one day. One phone call, a marriage and an absolutely eventful night that changes his life. What starts as a generic reunion at the marriage of his close friend, soon turns out to be an adventurous night after Siddharth finds that his friend, the bride groom, is missing. Setting out to find his friend, Siddharth finds himself in the presence of his love for one whole night. A night that can change his life… and as he sums up enough courage to finally express his love... Siddharth finds that it might be too late! Based on a true story…'On the Runway'.

A synopsis that catches your eye and a book that does not disappoint. The fast-paced crowded plot with many characters, stories and happenings keeps the reader hooked and wanting for more. The characters are brought to life and each incorporate their own individuality. Though the first couple of chapters only helped build the suspense, the flippant style, the laid-back setting and the buoyant comedy encourage one to look forward to the upcoming chapters. It makes for a great and a thoroughly enjoyable read. :)

The synopsis is interesting and that is what made me read the book. The beginning is catchy but few pages down, there seemed to be a lot of events happening. There was no proper description of characters and hence there was no imagery. The flashback complicated the story for me because I could not hold everything that was happening in the book by then. Sometimes, the dialogues were quite predictable. I did not know where the story was going once the flashback started.

The synopsis was a good way to catch the reader's interest. The story took off well and the pace was good until the introduction of a lot of characters in a very short span. The concept is quite interesting. May be the further chapters hold a good story. But the abundance of characters has diluted the intensity of the story.

Interesting concept... After reading the synopsis was really looking forward to read the initial chapters but I found myself lost in the characters...also didnt enjoy the flow of the characters coming in and out....there is too much happening all at once...plethora of characters spoil the way the story unfolds.....still confused with exactly happened and what exactly is the main plot.....

Thank You, I shall try to establish a better flow. But these characters are important for the story that was the reason i had to introduce them in the beginning. I shall try to make it better. Thanks for the review :)
