Synopsis

There is a deadly gas attack in a popular public place in a teeming metropolis. The authorities are at their wit's end to track and apprehend the perpetrators. The mastermind behind the attack is well on his way to carry out the next one. Will he succeed, as he did so effectively with the first one, or will he be stalled in time? The air smells kind of foul.

Nice plot, good flow and pacing. A few grammatical mistakes here and there, but nothing jarring. All in all, an intriguing and gripping read

It needs a bit more drama in the beginning of the book , the opening is very lame and paragraphs are too long with not much drama leading up to the viper !! Definately needs work on execution of the book !!!

Premise is very interesting, but the execution needs some work. I was not emotionally invested in the devastation done by the bombs, or danger posed by Viper. What was the devastation? People who didn't sit in the closed car, what happened to them? Try to give information on execution of crime and investigation as part of thought process or dialogues. E.g. When the detectives are talking to each other, the investigation process is very well covered in Chapter two, so no need to give the information at the beginning.

This has been on my 'to-read' list ever since it arrived on BGB and it doesn't disappoint in the least. The description of the bombing and the ensuing chaos is great as is the Viper's thought process. A lot of attention has been given to the details and it is not easy, especially for the kind of scenarios that are being dealt with. My only little suggestion here is with respect to the opening scene. A more punch in the gut kind of opening scene/paragraph/prologue would add a whole lot of excitement to the narrative. Overall, a great effort Deepak! All the best! :)
