The synopsis looks interesting, but the chapters are too long and too boring. After the first few pages, I found my interest flagging. Shorter chapters with better pacing might have been appreciated

The language is good and I like the way the author has woven timelines back and forth. The telling of the tale could be woven tighter. Interesting plot! Can definitely be worked on to make a good book. All the best!

Writing style and narration failed to capture my attention. The manuscript does need to be proofread. The execution could be better. Yes, there are some positives like good buildup and visualization, but should it get published at this stage? No.

The negatives - very boring story line and huge chapter sizes.
The Positives - good character buildup and loads of visualization.
I am divided if this should be printed or not - but looking at the other manuscripts out there, this one should not get another chance.

The author has put in a lot of effort. They key strengths of this novel are good research and characterization. The plot does retain interest, but maybe could be a little more succinct.

The story is very clearly carefully researched, and the writing is very detailed. It is easy to visualise the places and the characters written about. However, somewhere in the details, the constant skipping between locales and time lines, and the profusion of characters, the main plot is lost. There are some grammatical errors as well.
